This new shuffle is smaller in size and hard to operate because it is so small. I always clip the ipod to my shirt when I use it to exercise. This shuffle is so small you can not operate the clip without pressing the on/off button. The buttons around the ring are too sensitive and it is hard to hit the arrow you want with out also hitting the center on/off button. I like the older style shuffle better.

I bought a pink one for my 9 year old daughter for her birthday. She LOVES it. She SQUEALED when she opened the box. She felt very grown up to have her own ipod ;) I can fit about 180 songs on it. Works great, simple to use and very compact. I love that I can finally download songs from my imac for her. All her other MP3's were a no go :P Highly recommend!

My old video ipod is slowly dying on me and won't hold a charge anymore so I decided to get a small MP3 player for just working out. I looked into getting a cheaper generic brand of one, but after reading mixed reviews on products I decided to go with the trusted ipod. I absolutely love it! It's small and not bulky. I love how it has a built in clip so I can just clip it on and go instead of having to wear an arm band. I already have Itunes and I was easily able to create a playlist and just drag it to my shuffle library when it's plugged into my computer. I was a little nervous about it only being 2GB, but since I only use it for working out it's perfect because I just put my upbeat songs on it and I've only used up about 40% of it's capacity and that's all the songs I have for now so I have plenty of room to add more. If you already have itunes music I would definitely recommend staying with Apple. When I was reviewing the other MP3 players, most of them, if not all of them, weren't compatible with itunes. I've always been happy with Apple and it's nice to know you will get a solid product.

Not that great a fan of itunes. I don't like having to use itunes for all my downloading of music to my ipod shuffle from the itunes program. My windows media is a lot simpler , making it easier to use. I like the shuffle but it can frustrate me a bit, trying to put some of the music I want on it. I would reciommend this to a friend only after explaining my problems with it.

Pros: Clip-on style clips anywhere on clothes, small size makes it portable for all activities. Cons: Limited capacity (2GB), can only charge battery from computer (unless you purchase an adaptor), cannot see tunes or search, ITunes is very cumbersome and difficult to set up playlists.
