I have a lot of allergies but I'm unable to take many allergy meds due to some medical issues. Astepro has helped me a lot.
It works great! Not a nasal use fan but this really works. Highly recommend if you have serious allergy issue.
Excellent product! Opens up my allergy nostrils almost every time, when it doesn't turn into a liquid and run out of my nostrils!
Astepro Allergy Relief Antihistamine Nasal Spray, Steroid Free, 24-Hour Relief, 60 Metered Sprays works great for allergies
I have vasomotor rhinitis, on top of regular allergies. I've got a tip (which I learned from an allergist online) for lessening the gross taste, and is actually how you're supposed to be using nasal sprays: tilt your chin toward your chest, so you're looking down. Point the tip of the nozzle slightly OUTWARD in each nostril, and spray. DON'T SNIFF. Just breathe in normally. As the allergist said, "if you taste it, you waste it." So if it starts dripping out your nose, tilt back a little bit, etc. I realize it's a pain, but it really does help lessen the draining (and, therefore, tasting it). That said, I get so much postnasal drip that I wind up tasting some of it anyway. It really just tastes like medicine going down the back of your throat. I tried blowing my nose after letting it sit in there for a couple minutes, but I've still gotten a bit of it down the back of my throat anyway. It also helps to use a saline rinse before spraying this stuff, so your nose is clear and can absorb the medication! Anyway, even though I dislike the taste, I use it nightly right now because it's really helped clear my nasal passages. I was using Flonase before that, and it wasn't doing much of anything on its own. Since you can take both together, I do that now. I think it might be the combination of them that works so well. It's kind of a tedious process, but after dealing with cedar allergies (and then this dry winter air), I'm happy to do it when it brings relief!
