Atkins Advantage Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bars, 2.1 Oz, 5 Ct

The cookie dough bar was delicious and curbed my appetite. I just didn't expect it to be so good. This will make it much easier for me to maintain once I make my goal weight. Usually, the food isn't good enough to keep eating after your goal is met. I am not a protein bar fan, but this one I liked because it wasn't full of nuts and oatmeal.

Love the taste, the smell, the texture isn't like most bars. Taste like real chocolate and the best part it does contain chocolate chips. The scent is fantastic just like a candy bar. The texture is not tough/rough; it's not rock hard and not too chewy that it feels artificial. It has the perfect balance of being sturdy, no crumbs, and soft, easy on the mouth. Unlike most bars, what you see on the package is what you get, and more.

This is my favorite thing to eat on my diet. I've really missed eating cookie dough since it is extremely high in carbs, so when I saw this I thought I would try it. It has a really nice chocolate taste and the cookie part reminds me of the pillsbury cookie dough just not as soft. It does have a kind of weird aftertaste, but in my opinion it's worth it. It's also not as expensive as other brands.

Anyone saying they like these… must either be desperate to lose weight or literally so starved that they have no choice. I really do love the Strawberry Shortcake bars. But these. I can't even finish the whole bar. It has such an unnatural, synthetic taste and every bite isn't enjoyable at all. For the price, you'd think they taste a bit better. Not my favorite at all and won't purchase again.

Now this review is complicated. This bar is the worst treat I've ever tasted. They have much better options for protein bars, pick another if you're looking for a cookie dough like taste and texture. HOWEVER, they do what they're supposed to do: fill you up. The protein is very high making them extremely satisfying. I'm not on the Atkins diet, I'm an intermittent fasting kinda girl. And I stop eating at 6 o'clock after my one meal and these don't make me feel hungry, at all. I can last all night without another craving until meal time. So will I buy this flavor again? Hell no :) but I will keep eating Atkins bars.
