AuxAC - 200 Sq. Ft Portable Air Conditioner - White

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Aux AC 8000 BTU on rollers is the perfect size Portable air conditioner for my needs. It is big enough to cool a 200 square foot area and cold enough to do it quickly. After I opened the package and removed the packing material, there was very little to do before I could test it out. The two small manuals are easy to read and follow, including diagrams, one for the remote control and another for the portable air conditioner itself. This AC model includes caster wheels for easy movement which is a plus since the AC itself weighs approximately 61 pounds and is 13.8 x 16.57 x 27.9 inches in size with a decibel sound level of 52 DB. In addition it has two permanent built in hand holds and has window venting kits included for quick setup. Another thing I am happy about is it is a dehumidifier with an easy to wash reusable filter, this means you don't have to buy filters but just rinse this one and reinsert it in the unit. I did notice that the AC lets you know when the drain pan needs emptying and there is a plug in back and a hose provided to take care of this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everything seems to work great and it makes my 12 by 14 room cold. I think the noise level is fine. I like that it has a dry button and can act as a dehumidifier. My only question is the venting as it shows a diagram telling how not yo vent. But my window is a ways off the floor, so my vent hose is not straight. Also where it goes into the window there are some holes that seem to let in some hot air. See my pictures.
