easy to follow instructions. need to be careful of using wood pieces with knots! tried one of the screw placements and hit a knot. small damage to that part. couldnt have had a fully built slide insteaf of having to piece one together. overall sturdy and granddaughter loves it.

The swingset is really nice. My grandkids love it. The delivery people called us and told us what day they would be delivering it, and then called us a half hour away from our home. They unloaded it right where we wanted them to One thing, after looking at all the parts my husband and son didn't want to tackle the job. We did end up hiring a person I believe there's a number on the box. It took one person seven hours to put it together.

I’m a little disappointed but my kids love it. Some of the wood slats are thin and split when the set was being put together. It also squeaks and moves as the kids swing (It is mounted in the ground with all 6 spikes). I’ve added WD40, but still have the issue. This doesn’t seem to bother my kids, as they’ve been asking for a play set for a year. I do like that additional accessories can be purchased for it. The bucket swing and chalkboard have been added to ours.

We bought this a few weeks ago, and decided to build it ourselves. My kids have loved playing on it, and ask to be out on it all the time. It is up and safe, but there are many problems that I ran into while assembling it. Most of the steps in the build instructions are easy to follow, and provide helpful tips about orientation of the materials for future steps. But too many steps (as in more than zero) make you rely on the pictures in order to orient the material in the correct manner. For instance the tower portion is built as two halves, that then get placed together to form the box. But there are holes in two of the boards that need to line up across from each other, and be in the correct spot in relation to where the rest of the tower will be. At least 6 of the ends of boards were split when installing the lag screws into them. Even pre-drilling, which wasn't always part of the instructions, didn't stop the boards from cracking. The number of tools required/recommended was not correct. The glaring omission was the use of a crescent wrench. There are nuts that need to be tightened. Nuts in recessed holes, and hard to reach nuts inside the metal pipes that attach the large swing. Without a wrench, hand tightening is not going to get the play set safely assembled. The instructions end by saying that the warranty could be void if the stakes are not put into the ground and attached to the play structure as shown. Only two of the stakes have a lag screw for attaching. The other 4 have bolt and bolt caps. The problem being that there are no holes in the boards that should accept these bolts. More drilling through boards in order to not void a warranty. No pictures of where on the board to attach to, simply an overhead view of the structure with arrows for the stake locations. How high up the board are they to be? Suppose you should just guess on that. I assume that if "professionals" assemble the play set there are special tools used and special knowledge used to better quickly assemble. For me it took 10 days to assemble. Probably a total of 25 hours to get it up and playable.

We purchased this swing set for our 3.5 year old. The installers, who were great, put it together for us and our daughter has been playing on it constantly. She even ate her lunch in it. We are so happy with the sturdiness of it and know it will provide hours of entertaining for years to come.
