BBQTEK Split Lid 4-Burner Gas Grill

Well I bought the unit in 2009 from Walmart it was actually a display model. Walmart was doing some sort of inventory or planogram change at the time and this unit needed to be moved out quickly, so I got a great deal ($199.99 or so). I have basically used this unit non stop for the last 7yrs through all of the seasons. I have no regrets about the purchase of this unit it has served very well., but it's time to say good bye because I can't find the correct parts to fix her plus the inside of the unit is totally rusted out. I'm going to miss her but all good things must come to an end.

The grill itself is a great deal for the money. Easy to assemble and operate. I should not have accepted the delivery though. The box was crushed on 2 coners and in very bad shape all around. But I needed a grill that weekend. It took me 75.00$ worth of repairs to get it straight and now all is OK. It is just not worth the waiting and paperwork to return. Live and learn I reckon!

I have had several gas grills before and have always preferd charcoal to gas. I received this grill for fathers day in 2009 from my wife and kids and just love it. the sear grill side is great for searing the juices in steaks then moving it to the main grill side to finish with indirect heat. This grill gets almost as much use as my huge smoker grill. I have even bought a rotisserie and have done some pork roast in it and they have came out juicy and tender. I have recommended this grill to all my friends and family.

Loved the look, loved the storage...unfortunately it was a piece of junk. Used it two times and pieces broke each time. The warming, upper tray was missing in the box...several pieces were dented and then the whole lid/handle broke off at the weld. We are returning it today and looking elsewhere.

My husband told me all he wanted for Father's Day is a new grill. I found this grill online and bought it right then. The grill is great but my husband said that it is very difficult to put together. Other than the dents from shipping the BBQ is very nice looking and grills my dinner perfectly. A summer without cooking for me!!!!! w00t w00t
