Omg these locks are amazing, i brought these locks to place on my refrigerator and deep freezer so my kids can stop sneaking juices and popsicle out of them when im sleeping at night. And i must say it confused my kids cause my son said mom why is there a lock on the refrigerator and i told him ""you know why"" no more sneaking drinks in the middle of the night, drink some water...lol... but back to the review, its super strong and i love keys. I love this so much i ordered another set for my mother in law.

Little bit of background- I don't have kids, and that's not why I got this item, I have cats- cats that are capable of opening doors, cabinets, and the fridge. For the cats, I love these so much, they're completely effortless to install, the adhesive is strong even on drywall. I actually use these on 2 closet doors, a few cabinets, and the fridge my cats liked to open and they work amazing, the cats for sure cannot get these open. And unlatching them so you can get into whatever you have sealed off is very easy.

I actually got these to secure my washer and dryer from my son's 8 month old 90 lb puppy. He stays in the laundry room when we aren't home and he's so smart he figured out how to open the pedestals. He was destroying the toilet paper, paper towels, light bulbs, grocery bags, etc...that I store in there. Since installing these, he can't open the pedestals! (I do have 1 on each side because it didnt seem as secure with just having 1 in the middle- as he is really strong). These keep him out, but are also easy enough for me to unlatch when I need into the pedestal drawer.

First off, I don't have kids. Then ""why did you buy the child safety strap lock?"" you wonder. I have a sneaky 18.5 lb. cat, who last week decided that if I wouldn't feed him when he's peckish in the middle of the night, he would try opening my refrigerator himself. Unfortunately he was successful at his attempt. While I'm a considerate cat maid, that doesn't include waking up in the middle of the night to feed him... unless my cat starts to do the hairball hack, then it's amazing how fast a maid (or butler) can wake up and spring out of bed. But I digress, after it happened a second time, I realized a child lock for my fridge was needed right away. The timing of the delivery couldn't have been better. This was so easy to install and now i don't have to worry about my cat opening my refrigerator anymore.

We were experiencing issues with refrigerator piarates at my job - so I ordered this lock. It is strong, easy to install, and easy to use. In addition to keeping “refrigerator pirates” from taking things out of my refrigerator, it offers a sense of security- protecting me from things being added to my food without my knowledge. I would definitely recommend for anyone with a personal refrigerator in an office.
