Belle Maison Reversible Bedspread, Harbor

I wanted a traditional bedspread after years of fighting the duvet/bedskirt combo. Choices were very limited, but this one appeared to have the colors and fit I was looking for. First, the pros: The material is very good quality, the weight is exactly what I was looking for, and the fact that it's reversible is a big bonus. With 3 cats, I was a little concerned about snags, but it appears not to be a problem, and it actually sheds cat hair, unlike the microfiber one I replaced with it. The cons: The size is a bit odd...I have a very thick mattress, so I was concerned that it wouldn't drape all the way to the floor. The sides do, and more. It is almost too wide to be a queen size. The length, however, as other reviewers have mentioned, is about 18 inches too short, if you are looking to do the old-fashioned tuck under the pillows and cover them. It will cover the pillows if you just pull it over them, but barely. I dislike using shams, so wouldn't have ordered them, even if still available. The color isn't exactly what I expected, either. The "Harbor" color looks much darker and bluer in the photos, where the one I got is more of a light aqua color. It still works, but isn't exactly what I had in mind. Overall, for the money, it is a very good product.

This was clearly marked as a standard king size spread so if you have a thick mattress, it will not reach the floor or cover the pillows. I knew this going in and that was acceptable. I was pleasantly surprised when I got it on the bed. It fit like I expected, but the color and design looked much better than I expected. It keeps looking prettier day after day!

Good color contrast on both sides. Well constructed. Washed/dried as recommended. Still looks great.

I had been looking at bedspreads for months with no luck. The ones I found did not meet the size I needed for our King Size bed. I did not want to have to use a bedskirt. This bedspread is just right and looks very nice in our bedroom. I got the blue and like it very much.

My primary concern was the size. I have a king size bed and wanted a bedspread that would come close to touching the floor. This one does. It is very nice looking and I like both sides. The colors reverse.
