Came standard on my '16 jeep Rubicon... About 24k miles they started cupping/scalloping.I had always done regular tire rotations, about every 4k... But as unevenly as they wear, and the long waits at the dealership for frequent rotations it just isn't worth it. They did get me to THE TOP OF THE WORLD in Moab... They are worthless when youre driving on pavement in the rain...
My wife bought her JK is 2009. When at the dealer we had them replace all 5 tires with the BFG. After 75,000 miles we had a valve stem fall apart and destroyed a tire. 5 new tires were installed and we are now at 173,000 miles we are ordering a new set of 5. I rotate all 5 on every oil change and they have held up better than any tire i have had. Anyone who takes care of the tires will love this tire. Yes I can't go hood deep in mud right now but they are still very roadworthy. We hope our next set outlasts the JK !
Tires came stock on my Rubicon Unlimited Hardrock. I noticed noise starting to come from my left front wheel so I brought it in for a rotation and all the wheels have high and low spots around the circumference. cupping is what my dealer called it. They said all the shocks are good and charged me about 150 for an alignment. They said, and I quote, "sometimes you just get a bad batch of tires". Nothing I can do.
I work for Jeep and we had a women purchase this jeep back in march or 2016 did a lift and new tires she didn't want the bfg mud terrains I put them on my 2015 Chevy Colorado when it only had 15k miles on it I currently have 50k miles on the truck and the tires still have about 35% tread life left love the tires they have 70% highway and 30% off road use they work great offroad especially through the mud only issue is the sugar sand my truck is heavy gas mileage did drop a bit when I put them on but cant complain still do 18 city and 24 highway they do make some noise but its not obnoxiously loud
I bought a 2011 Jeep Wrangler Sport w/ S-package. Had good-years on them. I hated them. BFG Mud-Terrain T/A KM and bought a set of 5. I haven't looked back since. I LOVE them!!! I have put these tires though there paces from mud and rock too rain, ice, and snow!!! Blizzard of 2016 had nothing on me. lol. I also did a lot of road trips including a trip from New Jersey to Boston. Trip to Jim Thorpe PA. 5 or 6 trips down to Millsboro DE; and a few off-road outing in the pine barrens. The biggest trip I did with these tires was: 1400miles. But you have to rotate these tires every 2500-3500 miles to keep them riding right. I would tell anyone with a Jeep that you should own at least one set; there is no better feeling knowing that your tires are going to perform as well or even better then your might have thought especially driving off-road. Enjoy your vehicle, Enjoy your Tires, Drive with BFG!!!
