It works but kind of difficult if busting ATV tires. With wider more flexible atv tires had to work at it a bit to break the bead. had to take the block off to get the wider rear tire to wiggle in place. Also had to brace the back end or else it lifts up in the air & then it won t break the bead. I used a load bar & braced it on my garage door header. You can also try standing on it. If you have a gas station or small shop w/ a tire machine close by might want to see if they ll bust the bead for ya for free. It does work though. Might work better on a motorcycle tire.
