[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first electric razor. The Braun Series 8 is a very eye appealing product with so many great features. The first thing I want to mention is the Li-Ion battery which lasts about 60 minutes and also you have an emergency five min quick charge option that will give you enough juice for one shave. The back of the razor is rubberized, so it won't slip from your hands that easily. On the back of the razor you have a precision trimmer for trimming long hairs that will come out with a simple push of release button. It has an amazing display that shows things like travel lock indicator, cleaning station indicator, low charge/cordless use indicator and the best nine minutes battery left indicator. The razor is 100% waterproof, so you can use it even when you take a shower with no worries. The floating blades help shave tricky areas of your face. It also has the option to lock the shaver head when you need more control over the process. It is also great that it comes with a hard rock traveling case, so you can take the razor anywhere with you without worrying about damage.

I have super thick, coarse hair on my beard and your traditional razor doesn't do it for me. This shaver gets extremely close and doesn't make my skin irritated. Highly recommend.
