My toddler loves this! The only issue is that the pieces don't stay super tight when clicked together so I do have to adjust it sometimes. The cars are super easy for them to grab and navigate. We got this race car track for my son's third birthday. It turned out to be a hit for not only him but my five year old and one year old. The track is so simple to put together that both my five and three year old can assemble/dissemble regularly. The grip car that it comes with is great for younger children (one year old) and would be a great toy to work on those motor skills at a younger age. The packaging was luckily not frustrating in any sense. I always go bonkers when it takes longer to open a toy than to assemble. This fortunately was not the case. It would be nice to see some extension pieces or add-ons since all my kids love it so much. Probably the best thing about grippers is you can buy extra cars in so many colors and characters, keeping all my kids satisfied. This is an easy gift idea for any boy or girl starting at age 1. The Ford Full Speed Raceway Go Grippers Playset was super easy for me to put together for my son...he however wanted to help, but it was hard for him. Once it was together he started playing away! His favorite part was to let the car roll down the hills. He was little frustrated by the fact that it wouldn't keep momentum and he would have to constantly move around the track to shift switches and push the car around. He's old enough that he says he likes it, but he definitely takes spells with this one...I don't think it's a solid win for him. But I still think it's a pretty cool track for kids.
