I did find that on “thinner” parts of my body (for example, I was bit on my fingers and near my elbow a few times) I couldn't get the suction to grasp well enough to work. But, when it did work, it worked well. I am fairly sensitive/allergic and when I get bit the pain and itch normally lasts for weeks. The time was greatly reduced with the suction tool. I already bought a second device so I am ready for next summer.
