Bush Furniture Birmingham Credenza Desk with Keyboard Tray and Storage in Harvest Cherry

Gave it 2 stars because it is a beautiful and solid desk but after several hours of putting it together I found a flaw on the top (see pic) and the predrilled holes for the keyboard tray were in the wrong place and so it was crooked. Also had the same problem with one of the drawers. Thank goodness my husband was able to make the necessary adjustments. I had ordered a few times before from Hayneedle with no problem, but I am very disappointed with this purchase and uncertain whether I will order again. We will keep this and we'll have to live with the flaw on the top of the desk - too much trouble to return. Not Happy!

Gave it 2 stars because it's a beautiful and solid desk but after a few hours of putting it together the top had a flaw in the corner (see pic) that seemed to be from the factory - the predrilled holes for the keyboard tray were in the wrong place and so the tray was crooked and the predrilled holes for one of the draws were also in the wrong place so that was also off. I have ordered other things before from Hayneedle without a problem. I was very disappointed with this purchase and uncertain whether I'll order again from hayneedle. Thank goodness my husband was able to make the necessary adjustments so we'll keep it and live with the flaw- too much trouble to return. Not happy!

The table came with minor scratches here and there, somewhat annoying, but not enough to go through the hassle of returning it. The assembly is not especially hard, but tedious: it takes 3-4 hours to complete. You will need two people to install the table top, everything else can be assembled by one person. The instructions are pretty good, but there is half a dozen kinds of similar sized screws, and you need to be careful not to mix them. The part numbers for screws and hinges look like H159917, Z89898, and Z89899 (actual part numbers, copied from the manual). This makes it harder to find the right part quickly. The nails for nailing the back wall are of poor quality: they bend very easily. I had to use a few of my own nails. The assembled desk is sturdy and generally looks good, but it depends on whether the scratches happen to be located.

This desk looks great. It shipped freight so it took about a week and the top of the desk has about a 1/10th portion that has some moisture damage, but not big enough of an issue to return and wait on another desk. Instructions could be better, but it looks modern and my client relations manager that sits up front loves it! Also - important note - it can be built to face either left or right - pretty cool!

Looking at it, it appears to have 4 drawers, well it don't, 2 small drawers at the top, all pressed wood products that weighs a ton!
