I've owned this desk for at least 5 years. Heavy and sturdy desk with stable shelves. The cons are: the coating has peeled away from the plyboard at the front of the desk making it look unsightly, one screw for keyboard shelf split through the board making it unsteady [but easily fixed], the file cabinet weight [more likely because it doesn't hold up properly] has caused scuff marks to appear on the baseboard because it scrapes when opening and closing, the file cabinet area is a little too close to allow for leg room when sitting close [I end up putting my feet on the bottom shelf area], and finally, the size doesn't allow for moving through standard doors [I had to halfway disassemble it to get it from one bedroom to another]. However, despite all this I do love the file cabinet and many shelves for keeping all I need at hand.

This workstation looks great! However, there are just a couple of things I think could make it even better. First, it is a major chore to assemble...and that is an understatement! But once assembled it is a very good looking and functional workstation/home office desk on wheels. Second, even after removing one piece to make room for my computer tower (a typical Dell) the station did not have the space for it as the computer tower would not fit ( I ended up just sitting it on the floor right next to the workstation). Overall I would still recommend this workstation as it holds everything else and is a great organizer. It is (once finally assembled) a very nice addition aesthetically.

I didn't buy this, and never would. I spent so many years sitting at desks in my offices at work and at home in front of my computer, I know the value of being able to stretch out one's legs a bit. This piece has no leg room. I hope this warning will stop some from making a mistake and getting an uncomfortable piece of furniture. There may be some for whom legroom is not an issue, and more power to them. It may serve their needs well. It's certainly a fine looking piece.

The desk is well designed to hold all computer parts with easy ability to reach everything.
