Carex Raised 3.5" Toilet Seat with Handles, Standard Elongated Toilets, Handicap, Seniors, 250lb Capacity

This was perfect for my home. I bought it for my mother to use when she visits. My toilets are elongated and this fit great. I have bone color toilets but was never able to find a bone color riser. This does not look bad. I believe it could also be painted. The screws are a perfect length but the plastic washers dont hold well so we used larger metal washers and it tightened down perfectly. I just ordered another for the in laws. It will arrive today. Read carefully if you are ordering elongated or standard round. This is the only one, of many that look alike, that has round and elongated. There is a no return policy on this item.

I feel like Baby Bear! No riser at all is too low....3 1/2-4" is way too high! I'd love to find a product just like this one that is "just right" and raises me about 2 inches. I really like the convenience of being able to easily remove the seat to spray it off in my shower!

The raised seat was easy to install, but it is made of thin plastic. It is hollow inside and just feels cheap. After using it once, there are deep indentions on the top where the toilet seat pushed into it. There is no adjustment on the handles. Unless your skinny, it is difficult to fit between the handles and have any movement. I think I will take the handle off one side and install a grab bar onto the vanity instead. If I were to buy another one, I would opt for a higher priced, better built product

I purchased for my mother who had broker her femur and after 10 months and 2 surgeries was living with us. She was able to go back to her home and needed a 2nd riser for her other bathroom. After purchasing 2 risers for my home for her, I then researched and purchased the Carex riser. I want to say this was the top of the line. It was fairly easy to install and the original toilet seat and lid are on top of the riser. Absolutely love it.

I bought this for my Dad who has been in and out of the hospital and is very weak. I installed it but my brother tightened the screws as they were too hard for me to really tighten. My dad is so happy because he feels stable and the handles are perfect. The height is much easier to stand from.
