Chamberlain - 1-1/4 HP LED Quiet Belt Drive Video Smart Garage Door Opener - Black

Need additional information when programming the reverse sensors quite obvious when reading online there are issues with it resetting for no apparent reason other than 4 minute issue. There are numerous reasons why this happens but, you don't have a way to review them. Caused major frustrations for home owner trying to install.

Motor does not engage so I am unable to adjust the up/ down travel and the garage door will not open or close. I have rerun and checked each step in the installation and everything seems to be done in accordance with the installation but the motor will not engage.

Review title pretty much says it. Start by downloading and printing the installation manual from Chamberlain. the phone app has such promise but it just makes installation harder in some aspects. The opener function and features are great and everything appears to work fine in the short amount of time I've had it.

I previously had a Chamberlain Garage door opener with battery backup. it was great we have a split level house and put the put control remote by the basement entrance to the garage. I did the same with this unit however while I like the motion to put on the lights it does not have a feature like my previous that when the safefy beams are broken the light will come on. it is great in the evening when the door is open and the lights go out. now I have to walk to the back of the garage to activate the Motion detector. if it were not for this simple missing feature It would be a 5 start. Still trying to figure out how to make garage door open work under these stituations.

One of the main reasons for purchasing this was for the integrated camera. After about 8 hours of messing with it, including several calls to customer service in another country, I have just accepted that it's crap and it won't ever work. The frustration level with this thing has been off the charts. I will avoid all myQ products in the future.
