Char-Broil American Gourmet Charcoal Smoker

I bought this grill to replace the one I use to have that was just about like it. This is a great product and I highly recommend it. The only thing I don't like about this grill is its thermometer. It only has words. No numbered degrees scale. I will add my own thermometer. Pros: Durable, Easy to Assemble, Easy to Clean, Sturdy, nice Cooking Space, Superior Craftsmanship, Distributes Heat Evenly.. I love it

This grill works great for a gathering of about 30 people if you get started in proper time. If you want to grill occasionally this grill is more than enough, down right excellent! I can't see a person not being satisfied with this grill and price. In short the grill has great price and is easily put together and works great.

I cooked 2 racks of baby back ribs. The temp was easy to control. I was surprised by the large amount of briquetes required to maintain the temp. One concern is that the fire box with the vent open can spill hot coals on the deck. If its on a wood deck one should place fireproof material under the fire box. I used cinder block pavers.

I love smoke. I learned everything I could on smoking meat, poultry and fish few years ago. At that time my grill kept rusting out. I decided on this Char-Broil Smoker because it fit the needs I had. Size, shape, color and most important was flavor. I would recommend this smoker to everyone.

The grill as for cooking or smoking is pretty good. My only down side of this grill is the cosmetics. The paint does not stand up to the heat from the use of the grill and seems to rust quickly. Other than that it is a good product. I purchased the smaller of the two available because I didn't feel we needed the bigger one. To do it again, I would buy the bigger one.
