CMT Crossroads: Taylor Swift / Def Leppard (Walmart Exclusive) (Music DVD)

This DVD is very well integrated with cuts to interview excerpts between each song, a nice touch. Plenty of extra content, from extra songs to extended interviews. On stage Swift and Elliott complement each other well and "almost" made me wish she was a regular addition the the Leppard sound. Elliott carries his years well on stage next to Swift as they make a stunning singing duo. It was nice to see Swift's band in action interacting with the Leppards. Being primarily a Leppard fan, I could have enjoyed even more footage of Swift's entourage. The slide guitar and violin added to Leppard's style gave it a slightly different and refreshing sound as well. I was surprised that the Acoustic onstage attack of Two steps Behind was saved as an extra, that was phenomenal! Though I would have liked more of Swift on one verse of that song instead of just as backup. It is just so unique to hear a different vocal style accompanied by the Genuine Leppard band with Joe cheering them on. Also I liked the fact that Joe got to horse around more with the band than he usually does since he had some vocal breaks. Swift's outfit for the occasion was off the hook and she showed off some great moves! I just kept waiting for her to jump through a ring of fire and touch her toes in the air! But that unfortunately didn't happen...maybe next time. :) I would give this DVD 6 stars out of 5!

I never would've put Taylor Swift and Def Leppard together on stage...but it totally works. Taylor's and Joe's voices complement each other well, and everyone on stage looks like they're having a blast. It's just a fantastic concert video and I highly recommend it for fans of Taylor Swift and/or Def Leppard!

I'm a huge Def Leppard fan and think the collaboration between them and Taylor Swift worked really good. I was really impressed with Taylor Swift singing the Def Leppard songs, so much so that I like her more after watching this.

Great concert. I'm a fan of both Swift and DL, but if you just happen to like only one of them, go ahead and get it anyway! I guarantee you won't be disappointed =]

The DVDs I watch again and again are the concerts and this is now one of my 3 favorites: Swift-Def Leppard, Metallica (Ft Worth & S. F. Orchestra Concerts), & Pink Floyd in Concert at Oakland. Like Salt & Pepper, Bread & Butter, Swift & Def Leppard are a timeless combination--a classic performance that should appeal to a wider variety of music lovers than other performances. Includes excellent interviews which make you feel like you are there.
