First one was defective, low to no output. They replaced it even before I could get the defective one shipped back. The second is working great and you can't beat the Wal-Mart price.

Solar panels were well packaged and arrived in great shape. Each panelincludes a blocking diode inside the plastic junction box so that multiple panels can be connected in parallel for increased current. The "trailer" style connectors are a nuisance in my installation and I replaced them with Anderson power pole connectors, which are more versatile and convenient for me.

We researched the different types of solar panels. For us the only way to go is amorphous. I recommend do diligent research to find out what your power needs are. That's the only way you will make the right purchase.

The panel will charge in the dimmest of light and even under a street lamp at night. The charge controller however doesn't seem too good. It doesn't give amp or volt ratings and it only has two lights for charging and charged. I assume it is charging my battery as it hasn't died yet but i am definitely going to purchase a better charge controller.
