Exactly what we wanted. Can grind anywhere from 1 to 32 cups of coffee. Works perfect with the grind & brew single serve for multiple kinds of coffee at hand. Highly recommend it.

- It is easy to learn to use. Works well. - Takes up the counter space of 1.5-2 rotary coffee grinders - but because it is stationary (ie, you don't pick it up and put it down) it doesn't seem to need much more overall space. - For someone who just likes a good "cuppa joe" the number of coarseness settings seems to be overkill. But for an aficionado, the number of settings makes sense. - It is noisy - there doesn't seem to be any noise dampening built into the unit. - Some reviews say that they need to set the unit to grind for one or two extra cups (i.e., grind for 10 cups and make 8 cups of water. We grind for 7 or 8 cups and brew 10 cups of "joe." It takes experimentation to find out what works for you (coarseness and amount vs water).
