Cuisinart - Premier Series 12-Cup Coffee Maker - Black

I only have one issue with the coffeemaker - you cannot pour a cup of coffee without it spilling - I had the coffeemaker that had the side for hot water for tea or whatever and never had a problem with that one - my new one, you have to pour the cup of coffer over the sink because it spills so much - seems to be a design flaw.

I have not had this for a year, it was purchased May8, 2020. I have used two cleaning cycles as indicated by the unit. Now the pump is shot. I thought I would have coffee as always at 4am when I get up for work. That did not happen today. Thank God I still had my Dollar General Mr Coffee as a back up. For this price and the supposedly reputable brand name I am disappointed that it did not last longer.

This unit offers nice upgrades over our previous, 5-year-old Cuisinart 12-cup coffeemaker. The Brew Pause valve no longer scratches the top of the carafe lid. The oval-shaped filter basket is well designed, and the supplied gold filter works very well. Good value for the price.

I did not test the coffeemaker prior to using it as I've had Cuisinart before with no problem. I awoke to coffee all over my counter. The holes in the lid on the pot were closed which caused the coffee to run over the sides of the pot and onto my counter. I suggest you test the coffeemaker before actually using it. Of course I returned it.

I got my coffee maker as a gift. I only have one issue. I wish it stayed on longer. Once it fills the pot, it cuts off. Haven't timed how long it takes to cool down, but who drinks cups back to back, I drink mine with time in between and then I have to use the microwave to heat my second cup. Other than that, I am otherwise pleased with my gift.
