Cuisinart - Food Dehydrator - Black/Clear

Have used the dehydrator to make fruit leather. It's so easy to make healthy fruit snacks for anyone to enjoy. I followed the recipe in the instruction booklet— super easy to make the fruit leather. We prefer to use just fruit and lemon, which we blend and lay onto the tray. Unfortunately it only came with one tray, but buying more is available online— we highly recommend as we can eat a whole batch of fruit leather in minutes. Can't wait to dehydrate more items.

This dehydrator is awesome. It makes fabulous beef jerky, dried pineapples and apples. So far that's all we've tried but we cannot wait to try to dehydrate more veggies and fruit. The dehydrated food lasts much longer than the original item and you cannot beat the taste. So glad we got this product. Yes there is a fair amount of prep time up front but it's worth it when you taste the finished product.

This is quiet compared to the other one I have. Seems to clean a lot easier with the dehydrated fruits I have been doing. I just wish it had degrees on it instead of low, medium and high. That would make it easier in judging temperature for other things to dehydrate.

Machine works as should. The beef jerky recipe in the manual is really good, but I would only dehydrate for 4 hours or else really dry. Plantain chips are dry and crisp, but not the same as deep fried. Good to use with dips tho! Overall a good purchase for at home use!

Bought thus about 3 weeks ago and have tried everything from jerky to fruit to fruit rolll ups. Its easy tio use and you can find dozens of recipies on line .have otdered the additional trays you can use 9 as well as the liners fir roll ups to make it even more versatile
