Overall this is a great tire -- i currently have 51k miles on my set and they are spent -- Much more miles then i ever would have expected -- truck is lifted running the 351250r20s - i tow , off-road , ect -- they are not loud on the highway at all and really haven't changed since new -- i have the balancing beads as well -- these tires are as smooth as factory -- even at 100mph-- and yes my truck runs up there often on the country back roads -- lol -- they are very stable on the highway , as well as when i am towing a 25 foort car trailer .. these tires exceeded my expectations in every way -- looking forward to putting on a brand new set --
I have owned a few Nitton tires on a few different RAM's. My oldest was a 1500 with Nitto NT404 SUV tires. I have loved them every time. This time, I have LT 275/70/R15 on my 2014 RAM 2500 4x4 crew cab. They are slightly noisy, but nowhere near as much as I expected. They are about as noisy as my old BFG A/T TA KO's. Traction has been excellent. I have not had a chance to get it in the snow or mud yet, but pavement both wet and dry have been great. Going around corners they do become a little noisy just because of the side wall edge, but that it still way below the level expected. I am a weather spotter and sometimes the water gets pretty deep. So far, nothing has stopped these times. The stiffer side walls make the RAM feel like it has a much sturdier footing over the factory firestone A/T tires. I can also say that compared to my Tahoe's Hankook A/T's, these are much nicer. Time will tell how long they will last though. They are an (M/T) A/T tire with pretty agressive tread design so i am not expecting 80K miles, but if I can get near 50K, I will be thrilled.
Bought this tire last summer, so far it has worn fairly decent, better than i expected it to at least. Absolutely love the way the tire looks and how it performs in the mud. Also like the hum they have on the pavement. Definitely will purchase another set soon!
This is my second set, the first set I had and put to test was on my 2007 Hummer H3, took it through the trails of Colorado, when I was stationed at Ft Carson, Co. I put it through all kinds of terrain and not once has it failed me. I've traded my H3 for a 2009 Dodge Ram and had them installed here in Lawton, OK, I've taken it mudding, and recovered a Jeep, and a hand full of Fords!!! Ahahaha, but the tires handle great both on road and on my weekend adventures. Quiet till about 70, handled wet roads with ease, works great in snow, and even better offroad! I'm truly satisfied with these tires, I hope this helps.
Tough tires!!! I'm just replacing my pair of 285 70 20 on my 2012 Toyota Tacoma... I've got over 110,000 miles rotating every 5,000 miles!!! I pull heavy loaded trailers with mini ex and 20 ft enclosed car trailer loaded with tools for my contractor trailer... Also work in the woods and spent half the year hunting as plugs strong tire... Buying another set this week. Keep up the good work
