Dora The Explorer Digital Camera

This is a good product for a younger child learning to take pictuers. It has helped stop many fights with my daughter on using our more expensive digital camers. However, please note the picture quality is very poor. In the daylight, they seem to turn out better.

I got this for my grandaughter's 7th birthday. she played with it a lot and didn't seem to care about the quality of the picture. The picture quality is the only drawback which makes me rate it as I did. The picture is not very good, and has lines visible. But the taking of the picture and being able to look at it seemed to be the important thing to her. You must remember this is a toy and a learning experience, and not expect quality pictures for this price. Therefore it is worthwhile. Another reviewer said the software is great. I haven't seen it yet, but that would add more fun and interest for her.

I love this Dora camera. I did not expect it to be a great buy but it was Dora so I gave it a shot. My four year old loves this camera she goes around taking pictures and pushing the button so that the camera can talk to you while she is taking a picture. The viewfinder is kind of small but it tells you the picture will show better on the computer which it does. It also comes with a great photo editor that includes spongebob, diego, and other nick kids characters. This camera is great.

Purchased this product after reading mult. reviews of kid-hardy digital cameras. My 4 1/2 yo loves it. We recognize the resolution, etc. is poor, but for a first time pre-school user, it's a great way to introduce and practice framing subjects, estimating distance, lighting, reviewing pictures, etc. The directions to set the camera up are straight-forward, and the camera is easy to use. I recommend it to any parent who is thinking about getting their child a first camera and wants something a bit sturdier to learn on. Also love that we got a great price (less than $20) at WalMart.

This digital camera has poor picture quality on the displayer viewer. It seems like it is more meant to be a toy. My 4 year old daughter loves the camera and it meets her expectations. If you really want your child to have a real clear, crisp digital camera, this is not the one for you!
