Great little camera for young children who have interest in photography. It is tough, compatible for computer connection, has games to play pre loaded
We were quoted that it is the bestest birthday present, ever. What more do I need say? It has slot for micro Sd card that I advise you purchase. An 8 or 16 GB card will suffice.
My 3 yr.old grandson loves the camera. Easy to use and has a lot of extras on it to do to pictures. Good quality camera for a kids camera. He has taken over 100 pictures already.
Got this for my younger son for Christmas and it has been a consistently used toy since then. He didn't put it down for the 1st 3 days taking pictures of everything. It's amazing how quickly he could fill the entire memory. Yes, the pics were blurry and grainy, but he didn't care; he was still so proud of himself for taking them! Don't expect it to actually function as a camera to capture memories. It's all just for the fun of having his own camera and taking as many pics as he wants. After having it for almost 6 months now, he uses it more for the other features, such as the games and the voice recording. My 5 year old has fun with the camera too and takes better (still not great) pics with it. It has taken a number of tumbles too and it's no worse for wear. We've only changed the batteries twice, so I'd say it's got a good battery life. Totally worth the money. It's provided both my kids with hours of fun!
I had looked around for a camera for my 4 year old boy to receive upon his birthday and decided on this camera. This camera is a pretty good deal for how much you pay (I paid $30 with site-to-store) and has a lot going for it, including; · A decent camera - not fantastic but it's for children so who's complaining? I would have liked it to have better macro focus, though. Also, indoor pictures are commonly blurry with shaky children photographers. The lens on the front is sunk in so fingers aren't going to get it smudgy or scratched. And the screen is easy to see, one thing I worried about. · Rugged build - the body has a pretty solid feel and it's been dropped a few times already. I'm not really worried about it breaking apart. · Software - The camera's other functions are a plus, not that children need this but it's there nonetheless. The interface is easy to navigate for the most part but my son needs help with things like how to make a stop motion animation and other things like this. You can also do fun things with voice recordings like high pitch or a vocoder robot voice. Overall it's a great deal for all this camera does, even though there are other more expensive cameras with better image capture abilities.
