Dremel 4000-3/34 34 Piece Dremel 4000 High Performance Rotary Tool Kit

Purchased this ten years ago to replace an older model that had stopped working. Subsequently replaced the brushes in the old tool and continued to use it. I used the 4000 tool for about the fifth time today, it started to feel hot so I let it run with no load to allow it to cool before turning it off then it failed to restart. Very poor quality.

I just bought my second dremel after my last one wore out. This tool has so many uses its unreal. If you have a job to do this is the one, MUST HAVE tool. It can do it all and out of all my tools it's the one I always have a use for. As for price you can't beat is. Even with the others out there. There is no comparison with the quality and dependability of a dremel.

Bought one for my daughter couple years ago. I was so impressed with it I finally bought one for my self with the the flexable exension. Love it. My very old one gave up the ghost and not nearly the capabilities. If you need this type of tool this is the one.

When I received the Dremel tool I did a visual inspection of it, made sure all parts were there, and they fit right. Pluged it in and turned it on checked all the speeds all checked good. Did noticed that some of the air vents were not completely opened, some were blocked by extra plastic and was not cut off before assembling, this will cause the motor to over heat. Also the fan has a wabble to it when spinning, may be caused by the hole was drilled off center or on a slant this can cause the tool to vibrate more at higher speeds. Being made with plastic parts may not last as long as metal, and can chip, crack, warp, and may not be as accurate as metal would be. I still consider this tool an over all Good tool.

I had a machine similar to a Dremel. Never used it too much, but when I did, it overheated and took out the bearings. So I decided to upgrade and bought this Dremel. Best move I have made.
