In evening light it looks like enamel. Heater works well. Flame looks fairly realistic. If it was not plastic looking, I would give it 5 stars. Nonetheless it is nice enough that I am not taking it back, and i am pretty picky. It looks nice in our basement famly room.

Great heater fan really helps and is very quiet. Would recommend to anyone. Shipping was directly to front door instead of to store. Looking forward to many days of great warmth and ambience.

It's a nice looking piece. The blower is quiet, the flame more realistic than I expected, but it does have a plastic bottom. We got it to take edge off of January mornings for about 600 sf of area in Southern Florida house. Hopeful.

I am actually not commenting on the working capability of the stove as it arrived with one of the PLASTIC legs broken. Yes, plastic legs when the rest of the product was made of steel. Odd design choice... Th return was taken with no issue and full credit issued, but I was a bother and now the product is sold out.
