DSC-HX90V/B High-zoom Point and Shoot Camera

One of the last small cameras with GPS (some of us use cheap phones when travelling overseas and need GPS in camera) = independence from too many devices; concentrate on the pics. Good size for those on foot and travelling. Manageable, good quality, great price.

In the short time I've owned the camera, I've taken hundreds of shots. The pictures are focused and clear. The optical zoom is terrific. It gives me opportunities to take pictures of my female Doberman from a distance. I love it. The electronic viewfinder is great in the brightness of the outdoors. Its small size makes it easy to carry in a pocket. Very happy.

I have been using an SLR camera for over 40 years and I never thought I'd be happy with a "point and shoot". This camera is amazing! It has more features than any of my SLRs (including a 24 mm to 720 mm optical zoom) yet it actually fits in my pocket!

I have only just received this camera as a birthday present, after wanting something smaller than my old reliable Sony SLT-A55V . From what I can tell, it offers all the functionality of a DSLR with an incredible optical zoom, in a very small package. My only complaint is that I didn't realize I needed to get a memory card when I purchased online . It said it's optional, which is not true at all.

I upgraded from an older Cybershot and this camera has many more features and capabilities than my previous camera. I haven't explored enough of it yet, but I'm excited to see what it (and I can do). This camera still has most of my last camera's auto features, which produce amazing photos (DSC-WX300), so I know how to use those features, but I have to learn to use the more advanced settings which I'm excited about! I can't fully rate this camera yet since it's so new to me, so some of my ratings may be scores could change as I use it.
