Samsung Gear 360 Real 360° High Resolution VR Camera (US Version with Warranty)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this camera is years ahead any other camera like go pro, you can see all in a single shot.

The quality of the video is sulerb, compared to other devices in the price range (to my knowledge at least). I would rather use a computer to stitch the video, but the nitrate and quality is better if done through the Samsung phone app, which is a bit strange considering my workstation has way more desposable power. Also, it seems to overheat after 20-30 minutes of use... However, I put a thin metal heatsink between the battery and metal housing to help disperse the heat. Now, it records up to about 105 minutes before overheating. Also, I wish the controls were a bit more in-depth (like a manual mode)... But, for the price, it's definitely an awesome camera. Just remember to get a heatsink if you plan on recording longer sessions such as wedding ceremonies.

1) Video/photo quality is so so. As you zoom in the picture quickly becomes unfocused. The native G7 edge camera is sharper as you zoom in. 2) gear 360 manager will NOT allow you to save to SD CARD. For me this is a major issue as my G7 edge has limited main storage space. You can move the files to SD using My Files app, however the 360 gear manager cannot see the files. One must use the gallery app to see the 360 files. 3) quality using the gear vr headset is poor (grainy). Not really worthwhile using the vr headset. Also the headset seems to zoom in on the subjects, making it difficult to view the subjects compared to just looking at the phone. I am looking forward to the pro version to see if some of these issues are resolved.

Incredible is the only way to describe this camera. An unbelievable experience to find yourself inside your photos or videos, every detail captured with incredible clarity and sharpness. I'm planning to set it up on a drone and experience the sense of true flight wearing my VR gear. Absolutely stunt. Highly recommended. This is the next evolution of photography.

This is by far one of the best device, toy and product Samsung has ever brought out. This device is a huge hit with the family! Was originally going to purchase this camera in March 2016 so I could have fun in Austin SXSW but it didnt come out til late summer. Had the pleasure of playing with the camera at ACL festival where samsung lend them out....I knew that was a MUST HAVE item to add to my samsung collection! Its very VERY easy to use and fun to have around! The pictures look amazing, the video is WOW and posting my 360 pics on facebook has my friends and family going crazy how amazing it looks!
