Dyson - Cinetic Big Ball Animal + Allergy Upright Vacuum - Iron/Nickel

This is a huge improvement from my 6 year old Big Ball Animal vacuum. You can feel that the suction is stronger and you can see in the canister how much more dirt comes out of the carpet. It goes against walls better, has a better turning radius, longer cord, and is overall an excellent vacuum! Oh and I love the turbine tool. It works great on my couch!

The multiple attachments for this vacuum are very helpful. They are very easy to change out. It is a little awkward to get the right angle for what you are aiming at sometimes but, the tools really do what they are meant to do. I have only played with place mats for carpet, no big carpets but, the job it does on those versus my Kirby is amazing! My wood floor crevices have never looked/been so clean. Love it. The empty out process is easy, you do have to tap it or help it dump out a little when it has a lot of animal hair sucked up in it but, no where near as difficult as other vacuums and so much simpler than bag or filter vacuums! I am very happy with this. We wanted the cordless vacuum to start with but, after reading reviews on the amount of time it lasted once you use the head attachment, it would have never worked for a household, maybe a small apartment. I feel we made the right choice with this vacuum.

We have a golden retriever that sheds a ton and this vacuum certainly takes care of the hair efficiently! Although I do not like how heavy and hard to maneuver it is. I do like using it and the attachments work well.

I recieved this unit last 01/14/2015 as part of a breakthrough review and have had 2 other people try it out and their feedbacks are better that what I expected. Better Agitation: Me: it picks up so much more and that the power brush really gets deeper to the carpet compared to my DC65. My Boss: He says he loves that the carpet shakes during use and that he was totally blown by how much cleaner the carpet looked restored to its former self. "his comparison to his dc25" My Uncle: He owns a dc14 and is not really fond of bagless uprights and claims they lose suction. But after he tried it for the first time he filled that Cinetic BIn 2x in one room which he just vacuumed 2 days before he was totally blown away and was ready to buy one(kinetic big ball) the very next day but it broke his heart when i told him that at this time it's not available for purchase yet lol. Ease of use (ball technology) Me: Turning around corners and has greatly improved precision specially around edge cleaning. My Boss: His first experience with the ball technology almost took me 2 weeks to get it back from him as he was enjoying the ease of use. My Uncle: He is 68 years old and finds this unit very easy to use and maneuver. Attachments: Me: The newly improved flexi tool is much better than the older design as now you can clean the walls of those hard to reach areas while cleaning crevices. And the new composite dusting brush leaves no dust behind and it feels like a magnet that sticks to furnitures.(i have the rest of the attachments except the 2 new attachments sent to me) My Boss: He was impressed by how easy it is to change from one attachment to another and how much each tool is designed and how they perform to tackle their specific tasks. He loves the new Flexi tool the most. My Uncle: He just kept cleaning any crevice he can see and think of. Over all impressions: Me: I can honestly say that this new design is definitely another step up above an already awesome machine(dc65). My Boss: Will definitely get this unit when his dc25 finally retires. He said that he has never been so confident allowing his grand daughter sniff and lay and play all over the carpet after using this machine and that he described it as "my carpet looks brand new" My Uncle: Cannot wait for this to roll out for purchase!!! This machine has converted a bagged vacuum user to jump in and embrace this new technology. Our new Big Ball Animal was a breeze to assemble. We are previous Dyson owners so we had a headstart but new owners should have no issue. I could tell right away that this machine was pulling more dirt and dog hair out of the carpet than our previous models. The new attachments work great and I like the larger brush on the end of the nozzle attachment. Perfect for going along the baseboards. The one thing I really like about Dyson is the ease at which you can do maintenance/cleaning and if any wear and tear parts need replacing, it is a 5 minute job. Between our Dyson uprights and the Dyson rechargeable hard-floor vac, the dog hair doesn't stand a chance!
