[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm finishing my basement and the laundry area was the priority. I bought the dryer in March 2021 and had it hooked up about 2 weeks ago. Aside from just being grateful to finally have the laundry area done, this dryer has really been impressive. I haven't gotten to use the steam function yet, but I've used almost every other setting. The ‘eco' setting on normal can leave heavier loads a little damp, but running it on the ‘20 minute' setting seems to take care of that no problem. The touchpad can be a little sensitive, but that's not a complaint, only an observation.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this dryer a few weeks. It replaced a 12 year old Kenmore. It took a few loads to understand the settings. Really happy that it uses less electricity than our old dryer. The one drawback is the chime is much quieter than the old dryer's buzzer. Our laundry room is in the basement. The plus is the digital time estimate so we have a good idea when to check on the load.
We bought this washer (along with corresponding dryer) a month ago and was reluctant about a front-loading washer. But my fears and doubts have been erased - this is a great machine! I love all the options, the quality of craftsmanship and how super quiet it is! Very pleased!
I bought this dryer approximately one month ago, on first dry I was prompted to empty lint tray. Although the tray was not at all full, I emptied it. Placed it back and machine and attempted to begin another dry cycle. The empty lint tray would not clear, and machine would not run until I turned machine on and off about 5x. On the 4-5 dry, the lint tray came out of holder and clothes ended up stuck in the “belly” of the machine, rendering it unoperable. At this time I am awaiting a truck to pick it up and return it for a different brand. I also found running dryer on normal setting did not dry my clothes.
On the plus side, this dryer had amazing capacity. It runs fairly efficiency and has some nice economy features. It runs quietly, too. On the minus side, it has shut off without drying the load several times. I'm not sure if the sensor is off or if f the load hits the door and triggers a shut off. Also, the start button is very fickle. I often have to touch it 5 or 10 times to get it to respond. The timed dry only has 3 options: 30, 45 or 60 minutes. For a dryer in this price range, that's ridiculous. I don't like touch control—you can't just choose your setting by touching it. You have to scroll through the list for each item. Also pretty disappointing for this price point and at times frustrating since, as I mentioned, the touch sensor is very fickle. In general, the dryer dries (usually) the way it should and the capacity is awesome. The frustrations are minor but a bit annoying because of the amount we paid.
