It captures the lint and traps it in a basket type device thats easy to clean out. I love the various settings to meet all my needs for the different articles I am drying.

When I found out this brand and frigidaire are basically the same, it was a no brainer and we purchased immediately! I hope it lasts as long as my last one or longer!
