e.l.f. Cosmetics Lip Balm, SPF 15, Clear, 0.07 oz

This product came in the beach day kit a few months ago and it is my partner in crime. I I have it in Pink and at first, the fact that the color was neon pink scared me a bit but I ended up loving it. I wear it every day and you will not regret buying it

This lip balm is silky smooth with a gentle peppermint scent. It has a cool, tingly feel when you first apply it. I love this balm but unfortunately it only comes in a few colors, none of which are right for me. I would appreciate a color slightly more cocoa than the current "Rose" color elf offers. Because of the limited color selection I give this product 3 stars. In all other ways, it's a 5 star product!

Balmy, moisturizing, effective. But the pigment (I have Pink) clings to all the dead skin and wrinkles on your lips. It's very conflicting. I want to like it but Pink is so bright it shouldn't be so... unflattering. I'm assuming the clear balm is the best way to go.

I purchased the clear lip balm because I wanted the product for its main purpose: to moisturize. The clear has a nice, minty smell. It is moisturizing and feels like it sinks into your lips with a lightweight, protective coating. It looks nice on its own or layered over lipstick. Once again, another e.l.f. product with great value and high quality!

I have 2 of these: Pink and Nude. Pink is a very pretty barbie/baby pink color that I think is very flattering on my pale skin. Unfortunately, Nude doesn't flatter me at all. It's a very dark nude color that comes off quite orange-y and is more bronze in my opinion than nude. I think it would look nice on dark skin, but if you're pale like me stay away from the nude. The color is a sheer tint. I have a freckle on my lip that I can still see when I wear these, but the color definitely shows up and is noticeable despite being sheer. The color application isn't perfectly even though. It sticks to dry spots and is a little more opaque in some spots. It's not noticeable from afar but when i look closely in the mirror I see it. It has a good wear time, that I was impressed with, especially with the fact that it was a balm. It's not extremely moisturizing though. I would buy it for the color aspect not the moisture necessarily. Oh and it smells like minty dental floss.
