e.l.f. Lip Defining Brush

For me, this reminds me of a lip brush my mother used to have from years ago. This brush unlike the newer stiffer lip brushes doesn't take your lip product off, it actually blends & smooths as it should. I found this on another site and paid way more $$ forgetting check here first. Don't make the same mistake buy a couple with your order and if you don't like the softness it would probably work for a eyeliner brush too.

I have two of these and don't recommend them for applying lip products but it's the perfect brush for applying eyeshadow as eyeliner. After I put a thin line of gel liner at the lash line, I'll pick up a little bit of eyeshadow with the brush tip and sweep it over the gel liner. The result is a smudged and smokey line that doesn't look overdone. This "lip" brush is my most prized eyeshadow brush. I'm able to put little pops of color details around my eyes like a pro without harsh lines.

This lipstick brush is bad, even for a buck. Every time I've used it I've ended up with hairs on my lips. If the lipstick isn't gloss soft the bristles buckle and I end up having to squeeze all the excess out. Also, it's more boxy than tapered, which would be great if I had square lips lol

I thought I was buying the same product that was shown, but I received brushes that had a blunt tip. The bristles were not tapered, shed and splayed like crazy. I begrudgingly tried to use this brush with depotted lipstick and what a HUGE mistake. There are now brush bristles that I have to pick out of the product and the brush wasn't stiff enough to apply my lip product in any "defining" manner.

This brush is great! It applies gloss perfectly! I washed it, and was a little nervous because of other reviews that said it didn't work well after cleansing the brush. For me it works great! If you wanted you could also use it as a small brush for eyeshadow and your brows!!
