[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love this! Upgraded from the external capture card to reduce the cables on my desk when streaming games from my Nintendo Switch. It was super easy to install (as someone that's never installed anything like this) and basically just plug in and play. Very happy with the upgrade.
I bought this to be able to do the occasional console stream (I primarily do guitar and music) and the installation was as simple as finding an empty PCI-E slot. Game capture was easy enough and I didn't even have to use the HDMI pass through feature. I was able to play right on the game capture software. I did notice that audio would go *slightly* out of sync after many hours but would just require a disable/enable of the card in OBS. Eventually this card because my camera capture as it can function like a camlink as well when not capturing gameplay!
I had my HD60 Pro for about a year now and it has worked beautifully instantly picks up the feed of my console(s) the second I turn it on, it's opened new possibilites for my stream to grow be it able to stream and play my Nintendo Switch/PS4 Pro to my audience or have sponsored review streams of console exclusive games. the HD60 Pro is one of my favorite stream peripherals that i own. also own a Key Light Air and EpocCam
This capture card allows for an easy option to capture my gameplay for streaming. I had no issue installing it into my computer and it was simple to start streaming immediately.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I went from the original Elgato HD to this and was very pleased with the upgrade. The internal install was a lot easier than expected and my PC detected the card right away thanks to the Elgato Software. I used this card for roughly a year in SLOBS before upgrading to the 4k60 pro. The only reason I upgraded the card is this model doesn't offer the 4K pass through to let you play games at a resolution higher than 1080. Great card for anyone not looking to take that next step to 4k gaming!
