They were easy to light, but didn't burn 3 hours. They are not clean burning logs. They create a lot of ash, that I'm going to remove from my fireplace, that Duraflame and others don't. If I tried to move the logs as they were falling apart, there was a big flareup. I had purchased 2 cases, but I won't purchase again.

I use these in my woodstove. I place cut wood under the Envirolog, and light the log, it gradually ignites the wood below. Later I place a couple pieces of cut wood ontop of the burning Envirolog. These logs smell better than the other brand Walmart sells. This helps me have a warm fire for 6 hours.

These are great to start a fire as well as keeping one going. It's been -20° already here in WI, so having a nice rolling fire in our burner has been a definite need! I would recommend getting these over any of the other products out there. Put the money you would use towards any of those "starters" and just get these.

Bought two boxes of Enviro-Logs because I couldn't find any Duraflame Logs at the time. I got them for a good price but truthfully they aren't worth it. For one, they're shorter logs. That's all well and good, but the bad part is they do not like to light just with the wrapper. I had to pack the fireplace with crumpled paper to get the logs lit. Once lit, they had a very small flame to them. therefore, they threw out little to no heat. Save yourself the money and grief and just buy Duraflame Logs.

The logs were like other comments made of compacted paper. The smell is sometimes unbearable but it burns okay for the most part. Ordered some Pine Mountain logs because I don't want the linger in the house. I have asthma and need to be able to breathe.
