Didn't really relieve much sinus pressure. The design is unreasonable, it doesnt blow enough pressure to clear anything from your nose and its kinda hard to hold
I bought this because if it's very simple design, as well as having one of the lowest costs shown online amongst many other styles of nasal cleanser. I used a purified bottled water as it instructed you to do… I have horrible allergies and I'm constantly congested with sinus pressure in my head. Are used two packets with a full bottle of water and it really did its job… I would most likely go back to using just the one packet with a full bottle. It really is a great working simple unit. There is a little button on the bottom of the bottle that once you get the unit in position and your head tilted properly over the sink you just push the little button with your thumb and the pressure immediately forces the water with a Nice flow into your sinus cavity… It feels extremely weird at first but you do get used to it. I just breathe out of my mouth while doing this. My sinuses immediately felt much clearer and lighter. I definitely would recommend this before spending. A lot of money on these other devices…
I was referred to a Pulmonologist for bronchial spasms years ago; I would wake up gasping for air. He stated he thought it was due to sinus issues. I thought he was nuts. He was right. I used the old school Nettie Pot then. What came out of my nose that time was so gross and just unbelievable that all of that was in my head but I was better in no time. I've used it since for colds, flu and allergies. I bought this type of sinus rinse bottle to give it a try. I have no plan to go back to the traditional NP. This works so well and is easier. Fill, press to nose with bottle vertical and press the button. I use a full dose on each nostril when needed.
Okay, so I love the design that allows you to easily keep your head upright while also allowing the control of flow with a single finger on the button on the bottom of the bottle. Unfortunately, that button (spring regulated) is a very high failure rate item. I got until Day 3 before the first one failed. Day 5 for the second failure. After that it becomes unusable because the incompetent spring allows the solution to leak out onto your counter.
This is so easy to use! I already had a squeeze-type bottle. Those are harder to use, as you use up water you need to squeeze harder. Those with arthritis may not be able to do that. This one flips upside down, and then you press the release button to let the water flow. This uses all of the water effectively. It's easy to clean, and so much more cost effective than machines that cost over $100, hog counter space, and demand single-use plastics that must be purchased from their brand.
