Normally our 3 year old gets worst on his feet. They stopped for months after using equate strips. He just recently got one on his hand, where you cant put the strips. We tried this and after 2 applications the wart was gone. We love equate wart remover stuff and its half the price of other wart removers.
I received this Equate Wart Freezer product from the Spark Reviewer program to review. The instructions were very easy to follow and it worked very well! It uses a freeze dome technology that treats the wart by freezing it! My son had a wart on his hand and we simply positioned the applicator opening over the top of the wart and pressed the bottom of the dispenser three times in a row as instructed. It was that simple! It was very fast and effective one step wart remover that wasn't at all painful and is a product that I would recommend!
Being “blessed” with genes that include the development of warts, over the years I have tried many store bought and home remedies to get rid of them. Hint: duct tape does not work, at least for me. Even after six weeks of applying various liquid wart removers every day, sometimes the darn things are persistent. I have tried other “freezing” products, too, with about the same results. The Equate Wart Freezer is up next. Maybe third time is the charm. Both my wife and I each selected one location and tried out the new Equate version. It's cold. While the information included on the packaging indicated there may be itching, stinging or tingling immediately following application, neither of us experienced that. There has been no other side effects, blistering, discoloration, etc. After two weeks, one wart was significantly reduced in size and my indeed be gone in a week or two. The other just received a second dose so we will see how that progresses. So, in short. No pain, no side effects, one down one to go!
I have a couple of plantar warts on the bottom of my foot. This product didn't really help me at all. Not only did it not work, there were a couple things that I disliked about the application process compared to Dr Scholls Wart Frezzer. First of all, You can use this 8 times. However, each time you use it, you have to use the same applicator. With the Dr Scholls, you change the tip for each application. I feel that is more sanitary. Also when using this product, it didn't feel cold at all. I read all of the instructions and I feel like I was using it right. So either this product was defective or is very complicated to use. Stick with Dr Scholls.
I have used this on a wart on my foot. I can't tell if the wart is gone yet, but if you follow the directions, it will take awhile. Warts take awhile to get ride of. So far it's a good product, and cheaper than going to the dermatologist to freeze them off.
