Evaporative Air Coolr W/3d Coolng Pd

The product only worked for approximately 3 days. The unit did not come with an instruction manual therefore two of the buttons don't have labels and seem to do nothing except beep. The different modes seem very impractical and annoying, when you put the unit in night mode or with the picture of the moon the unit speed decrease and then shuts off and turns on every 5 seconds, this is the same for the leaf picture mode. Long story short I am in the process of returning the unit.

First of all, the product came in with a rear wheel broken. I taped it up and started using it since I wanted to see how the product performed. The performance was mediocre and the 'cool' setting was very noisy. I returned the product in a week.

The Product worked for about a week, This for my limited purpose of cooling a small room (10x14). Then the water pump failed. I have ordered another and will try again but I am not all that optimitic. If it fails I will return it and order from a more established evaporative cooler manufacturer. The attractiveness and portablility of the unit would make it desirable if it would work.

I grew up with and currently have a swamp cooler in my home. Thought I would buy this to help cool my grandson's small room in my daughters apartment. Tried it with cold water and with ice water, neither made a difference. Did not cool at all! A $30 fan that she had bought, worked much better.

This unit is perfect for A/C dead spots. The humidity added back also helps the A/C to cool more efficient. I just bought two more units for family members.
