SPT WA-9000E Portable Air Conditioner

this thing puts out more hot air than cold- tho the front blows cool the exhaust out back blew about 85+ degrees making the room hotter than when its tarted. totally useless.had to return it

It's a good A/C but the window installation kit didn't fit in my window. I had to use the foam from box for the A/C to fill the hole. It cools the room down drastically but if you have the A/C on cool and the setting on High, you will be emptying your water tray every 3 hours! It's a little loud but manageable!! it's bigger than it looks in the picture and a lot wider. Its about 3 feet high by 1 foot and half wide.

I usualy dont write reviews but this product works very well. I bought it to replace an old portable airconditioner and is a great improvement I does the job quickly and cools an area 48 by 60 set at 70 in a matter of minutes. The only thing I found was the exhaust hose to short but I was able to hook up my exhaust hose from my old airconditioner

The product exactly matched the description. Installation was easy. I immediately set the thermostat to 68. It was 91 outside. My large bedroom cooled down considerably in the first hour. Be sure you vent this unit, as the back get very hot, which is to be expected. After I purchased this I saw other units at different sites for less $ and more BTU's. Walmart should lower the price to $299 to remain competitive with other sites. They should also have provided free shipping.

Works very well, I don't know why they dont show actual temperature in these things, would come in handy
