Every Man Jack Fragrance Free Face Scrub and Pre-Shave for Men, Naturally Derived, 5 oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this line and products. Was curious to see how the face scrub worked, since I hadn't used before. The smell is fantastic and skin feels great after. I only wish it had a bit more exfoliate in it to feel that my face was getting a deeper scrub and exfoliation

I chose the Activated Charcoal Face Scrub because I have always had issues with oil and slight acne on my face and I've found other skin care products with activated charcoal to be helpful. I was purchasing some body wash and needed a scrub at the time so figured I would try this. However, I've been very disappointed with this purchase. First, I wish I had taken the time to pay attention to the FULL ingredients list to notice this contains salicylic acid. For me, salicylic acid has always exacerbated the production of oil on my face, so I try to avoid it. Additionally, I was looking for something that was a little more "natural" as the description said. Second, the product is kind of runny and actually tends to ooze out on its own if held upright making it a bit messy. Third, I don't feel like this product does a good job of breaking down the oils or getting deeper into the pores, and with the salicylic acid, it actually slightly irritates my skin. There are other "natural" scrubs that I've used that have done a much better job leaving my skin feeling softer, cleaner, and more refreshed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Every Man Jack face scrub certainly performs as advertised. It makes your skin feel great and works great as a pre-shave wash.

Not anything like I have used before; however, the tiny beads they put in the soap help get all the dirt and dead skin off. The fact that it doesn't contain any fragrances is also a really nice touch. Overall, I think it's a product that takes a small amount of time to get used to but it honestly has made its way to my top shelf now.
