Keeps my water fresh

I just came onto the website to get information to recommend this service to a family member and saw all of the negative comments. We're a small household that drinks lots of water and we only replace the filter once a year (fridge has an indicator light to tell us when) since late 2017. The water and ice are delicious. The service does exactly what it says - gives you plenty of time to change the subscription if you want to. It does take a little time and effort to take out the old filter, replace and clear the line of air bubbles and maybe a little carbon dust. I never have to do it for as long as the refrigerator manual says. I'm very happy with these filters. I wish there was a recycling option like there was when I first subscribed - my only complaint but I have that complaint with most consumables!

Have bought several Filter4 in the past, and they worked fine. The brand new filter4 I installed yesterday makes a sound like a jackhammer when we try to dispense, and only a trickle comes out. Never seen this behavior before. We tried running 4 gallons through, as the manual recommends (which took FOREVER), AND STILL HAVE LOW FLOW / JACKHAMMER NOISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Reinstalled old filter and no noise with normal flow.

Had the fridge for over 15 years and this is the first time we having such an issue. Ran a ton of water through it, which is a pain as we have to keep the fridge door open. Will have to change brands, based on other reviews it appears to be a common problem.

This filter works just fine with my KitchenAid refrigerator since it is an exact replacement for the filter that came with the fridge. My only complaint is how expensive these filters are. I may try one of the knock off filters next time.
