everydrop by Whirlpool Ice and Water Refrigerator Filter 6, EDR6RXD1, Single-Pack, Blue

I went to the Kitchen aid website and put in my refrigerator model # to get a good quality, filter that would fit my refrigerator, but when the filter came it would not fit. I called the company, they said it is the right filter and it must be me or my refrigerator so they would not return it. This is not a cheap filter. I have purchased a different brand of filter and it fits with no problem getting it in. I feel this is deceiving. I'm not happy with this order. They should test this product out in this model

I have been buying a filter for my refrigerator for many years. But these last couple of filters (over the past year), I have had difficulty getting it to fit into the slot in the refrigerator.. It is not quick and easy like it used to be. Takes many, many tries to find the 'sweet spot' to get the filter in correctly. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Bought this filter today, and it DOES NOT FIT into the slot located in the bottom right of the refrig. Refrigerators are suppose to last for years & years, and to have to buy another refrig because there are no parts available is absolutely ridiculous. We have been thru multiple filters that are "suppose to fit".

I bought this filter approx. last month. It looks and has the same number as the old filter, but it does not fit into its slot at the bottom right of the refrigerator. If a handyman I hired cannot fix it I will return it for a replacement. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
