Fellowes MicroShred MS-450Cs Micro-Cut Shredder, Black

Excellent shredder for home use.

Fellowes Micro-Cut Shredder is the best shredder I've ever used!

The MS-450Cs replaced an old Fellows Powershred PS 60CC (cross cut). A world of difference between the two units. It's quiet and the "micro-cut" paper packs more densely. I go longer before emptying it, which is easy & much less messy than with my old shredder. The only problem I had was that the original unit was damaged in transit. I did not discover the problem until I tried to use it. The latch and interlock tab on the catch bin were broken, rendering the unit inoperative. The shipping container was intact, so my guess is that it received a unique blow that caused the catch bin to move and snap off the interlock tab. Fellowes customer service was great. When I called and explained the problem, they immediately arranged to ship me a new shredder and sent me a pre-paid shipping label to return the damaged unit. The replacement shredder arrived via UPS and has worked flawlessly since I unpacked it. I highly recommend the MS-450Cs for home use.

I haven`t bought this at wal-mart yet but I am going to. I bought one exactly like this one at Office Max and paid 316.00 including tax.. Well that one is going back tomorrow. The price I paid was awful. I found the one at walmart a day later for this excellent price. They do say walmart is cheaper and now I know it is true.

Our office loves this shredder. The best thing about it is it's super quiet! The stream lined look fits so well into our office. We love the black & chrome. It even shreds discs & credit cards. We also love the confetti cut shredding. We are extremely happy with this product.
