Fellowes Powershred P-40 - Shredder - strip-cut - 0.25 in - S1

I just wanted to let you know that I purchased your Shredder P40 way back in October 2009 - YES 2009!!! And it's been a little beauty. It's been in use for nearly 12 years when it finally went to shredder heaven. When I shred - I bag the cut paper and donate to an animal shop that uses the paper for a soft sleeping bed for the little animals and is then easily disposed of when soiled. I also use in my own compose from time to time. And my broken shredder also went to a recyling organisation that reuses parts/fixes/makes something else so that it's NOT landfill. Because this has been such a great little shredder - I immediately researched where to buy your brand again and did not hesitate to purchase a new product so I can continue happily shredding and preparing cut paper to keep it out of landfill. I am so grateful to have received my Fellowes Shredder. My first initial use of it was just simply to plug it up and push the on switch on. I like the pciture with the red and green button and the finder on it. I am a visual person and so that made all the more simple. My new shreder was just user friendly from the start. It is lightweight and makes lifting easy, of course. I recommend it to all my family and friends.

Bought the Fellowes PS-40 when shredders first came out. Has been working fine. Only problem is I have to cut sheets of paper to a smaller size and then shredd for better security. I recently retired and am going thru all my records and destroying them. After 45 years of saving Bank, Credit Card, Store Statements etc, I am tired of cutting every thing to a smaller size for the security I want. I purchased a Fellows DS-3 and am looking forward to years of quality operation. You make a wonderful product.

I bought this to replace an old shredder that no longer worked. I've used it several times and its already paid for itself. Im very happy with this purchase
