Fisher-Price Kid Tough Compact Camera, Blue

I spent a lot of time researching and deciding on a camera for my son. He loves using my camera, but I knew I needed to get him his own. I thought from the reviews this would work perfect for my just-turned-three-year-old son and I was right! HE LOVES THIS THING! He was so excited when he saw it. He loves the little screen on the back and I love that he can hold it with both hands. I also love the viewfinder-type way that he can take pictures as well. The picture quality is pretty good for the price and for the fact that it is a kids camera. Definitely takes better pictures outside. Also wish it had the Image Stabilization feature that my canon has, but for this price I can live with it. We have been teaching him to set it on something while taking pictures and that seems to work well. Overall, I love this camera. Perfect for my little man!

I initially ordered two of these on the site to store pick-up. One for my parents who are in 70's and having trouble with small buttons on digital cameras, and one for myself to learn to use it so I could teach them. Well, they decided they didn't want it, but I kept mine. It is sturdy, takes a great picture for the price ($40.) and is easy to use and simple to delete pics, etc. If and when their current digital dies, this is what I am getting for them. I am an artist who does dog caricatures and portraits and this is great for me to grab a quick couple poses for caricatures! Plan to use it in other art projects. Oh, and luckily the lens is recessed so, truly it is a tough little camera and that feature alone makes it a great kids camera. Would be a super present for the early elementary age group.

I haven't downloaded the pictures onto my computer yet, but the color quality of the pictures on the LCD screen of the camera is very poor. My 3 yr old son loves taking pictures with it though so I will keep it but I am very disappointed in the camera because of the poor color quality. He hasn't dropped it yet so hopefully it will live up to it's "kid tough" name. I gave it 4 stars because he likes it so much. I would have given it 5 stars if you could actually tell one color from another in the pics you review on it.

My daughter loves to watch me use the real digital camera. This allows her to learn how to take her own pictures all by herself and we don't have to worry about her breaking the expensive one! There are a lot of deletions right now as she learns to keep her hand still, but that's what's great about the camera. It can take a lot of pictures and you can keep what you want. As she gets older and learns to use it better, this will allow us to see the world from her eyes! The online software that you download is terrific too and allows you to not only use the pictures she takes, but you can also upload your own and create fun photos with it! I did have to have my original one replaced because it froze up when I connected it to the computer, but the second one works perfectly! A terrific price for something that she has so much fun with!

This is a good product .. bought for my 4 year old grandson. The only objection i have is they could have made the quality of the pictures better, for THAT price. Most digital cameras of very good quality can be found for a similar price or cheaper. it also could have come with the connector to download pictures onto the computer. It is easy enough for him to use without problems (once he got used to it) It is the only product out there (like this) that looked sturdy and easy to use.
