I bought this for my son on his 4th birthday. He LOVES it! I have always been interested in photography and have shown that interest to both of my children. My oldest son is 11 and has his own digital camera so I wanted to get one for my youngest. He has so much fun with it! He has his own picture file on the computer and we bought re chargable batteries for the camera so he is always ready to go. GREAT PRODUCT! My daughter always wants to take pictures with my camera and being that she is only 3 years old I didn't want her to use my expensive camera!! My mother got this for her birthday and she just loves it! I love the fact that if she drops it I won't freak out! I read some of the other reviews about picture quality...and like the other person commented "what do you expect from a kids camera??" I know that my daughters pictures will not turn out "perfect" but for goodness sakes at least I know that if she drops it, I didn't have $300.00 plus dolllars go down the drain because she broke my camera! She can take it outside and have fun without me on pins and needles if she happens to go on concrete with the camera! I also love the fact that once she is old enough to download the pictures to the computer, she can then email them to relatives. I don't have to worry about purchasing film and then find out that the pictures that she took did not turn out. She can see for herself that they are fine and if not delete them and retake if she wishes. I wish they had these when I was a small child!

I just want to tell everyone who thinks the batteries are dead that I thought the same thing untill I read the trouble shooting guide.If your camera is acting like the batteries are dead ,it is possible that static is causing your problems.Take the batteries all out and re-insert,this should solve most problems.In my home the static builds very quickly and causes the camera to shut down as if it had low batteries.

My wife and I bought this camera with great anticipation. My three year old son has been interested in cameras and pictures from an early age. By buying this camera, my wife and I were hoping it would engage his creativity. What we received instead was battery contacts not properly connecting and a wickedly fast drain on batteries. We plan to return this camera because a product needs to last longer than three weeks.

This was perfect for my 4yr old nephew who tears everything up! It also can get wet, how perfect.
