AWC1T Underwater Case for Flip Ultra Camcorder

If you want to take video at the beach or out in the pool, this is very nice and handy. Very easy to use, and underwater videos are really cool. I think the only thing anyone would complain about is that the audio microphones can't pick up thru the case.

I purchased this product despite a few negative reviews I had read about it and I gotta say I am happy to report that I have nothing but good things to say about it. I have gotten some great videos using this product that I wouldnt have gotten otherwise because I wouldnt have wanted to risk taking my camera or camcorder near the water. I have found the seal to be tight and have thus far not had the slightest bit of leakage that others have reported. One tip I might add is that I try not to use the controls while the camcorder is underwater, thus reducing the risk of a leak. I just turn the camcorder on and press record first and then put it underwater if I'm going to film something under the water. Then I make sure its out of water before I press the red button to stop the recording. Simple as that with great results! I wish they made this product to fit the new Flip Ultra. I love the Flip so much that I recently upgraded to the new Ultra but am keeping my old one simply to use with the underwater case.

This product does NOT work underwater period. It says on the box it is good to under 30ft. Well I stuck it under about 6 inches of water and it ruined my Flip Camera that I had only owned for 4 days and used once.

The underwater case works wonderfully. The sound is crystal clear and the quality of the vidoes is not reduced. Great product, great price!

We bought this to use with the camera as we go to alot of indoor waterparks during winter and alot of campgrounds in summer. This is a MUST HAVE if you have kids and spend any amount of time in the water. Works great in the water and images on video are perfect. The volume is ok, but the best part is the sound of the "bubbles" when you stick it in the water. Lense stays clear so you don't see bubbles or water drops in the video. I will say it again, Just Buy IT!!!
