Gardein Ultimate Plant-Based Burger - 2 burger package, 8oz

I am a meat eater, but I am also a Hindu. On religious holidays I fast from meat for weeks at a time, and Gardein really helps me get through it. These burgers taste very comparable to meat, I usually warm them in the microwave and then put them on the skillet. They taste very good, and my husband who is also is a voracious meat eater, loves how they taste. That being said, I wish they did not have 50% of your daily amount of Saturated Fats, that is 10 grams per serving. That's my only complaint and it's a pretty concerning one.

I JUST had my first plant based burger and I found it amazing! I don't get the negative comments...even my husband, who is a hardcore meat eater, loved the taste! I put a slice of pepperjack, wilted spinach, tomato and some chipotle mayo! Absolutely satisfying...I will be eating these to break my fasts. Definitely buying again!

First, I want to mention that I thought there were 4 burger patties in the package. There are only 2. That was initially upsetting because the price was expensive but a relief after I tasted the burger. This patty is way too fatty that it is just about inedible. Palm oil and coconut oil? I think bacon lets off less grease. The taste of the burger and even the nice touch of the chopped onions embedded in the patty are overwhelmed by the grease. I would not buy this again. I definitely would not recommend this product to anyone.

This product at first made us skeptical because when cooking is smells a bit like popcorn. We weren't sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised. The texture and taste was like a hamburger. No fake smoke, or strange seasonings. It could fool a meat eater. It was moist, it had the right amount of resistance. It is the best commercial plant based burger I've eaten.

I'm new to becoming vegan and I heard good things about these. So I decided to try them out. My boyfriend is not big into plant based eating. But he still tried one. We both really really enjoyed them. It's probably my favorite plant based burger out there honestly. I've tried a few different ones and this is my far the best! I put it on the grill and added some seasoning to it, added normal burger toppings. I also Made one plain with nothing but a bun, and it was still super good. :)
